# Machined Components for Completion & Production Systems
Completion service companies and production optimisation teams buy components that sit downhole for years without failure: packer rings, safety-valve internals, sliding-sleeve parts, sand-control screens and gas-lift components. We machine them in alloy steels and corrosion-resistant alloys from 100 pieces, with material certificates and first articles in 7–15 days. One dedicated technical contact handles quoting, production and delivery questions from the first drawing through running supply. Application at a glance
### Typical component families

| Packer components | Alloy steel, elastomer-bonded
| Safety-valve internals | Nickel alloy, precision turned
| Sand-control screens | Stainless steel, wire-wrapped

### Typical supply parameters

| Batch range | 100–10,000 pcs
| Tolerance scheme | ±0.005 mm, DIN ISO 2768-mK
| Documents | EN 10204 3.1, dimensional report

## The components that cannot fail downhole
A completion string is a chain of components that must hold pressure, resist corrosion and maintain dimensional integrity for years in a environment where intervention costs multiply with depth. Packers, safety valves and sliding sleeves are engineered with sealing surfaces, threaded connections and internal profiles that demand machining tolerances tighter than most surface applications — and the buyer's first question is always about material certification and dimensional consistency. The supplier who solves both at once — a certified alloy with a real dimensional report, at a lead time the completion window can wait for — becomes the standard for every future completion program, which is exactly the position we build for. We machine these components in alloy steels and corrosion-resistant alloys, with sealing surfaces finished to Ra 0.8 or better, threads gauged on every batch, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates with heat-number traceability on every delivery. The specification is stored against your part number, repeat call-offs run without a new engineering cycle, and DDP deliveries arrive in 5 to 8 days by air including customs clearance. Repeat orders reuse the stored specification without renegotiation, and the document pack repeats identically on every call-off so your files stay complete across programs and years.
## Typical component families and processes

| Component (IT / EN) | Typical material | Process | Typical batch
| Packer rings & elements | Alloy steel + elastomer | Turning + bonding | 100–5,000
| Safety-valve internals | Nickel alloy / 316L | Sliding-head turning | 100–5,000
| Sliding-sleeve parts | Alloy steel | Turning + grinding | 100–5,000
| Sand-control screens | Stainless steel | Wire-wrapping + machining | 50–2,000
| Gas-lift valve parts | Monel 400 / nickel alloy | Sliding-head turning | 200–10,000
Elastomer selection per service environment; sealing surfaces Ra ≤ 0.8 µm with actual values reported.
## Workflow: drawing, sample approval and recurring series
The standard flow: drawing review and quotation within 48 hours, first samples in 7–15 days, first article inspection and approval, then series production against the approved reference. Tooling, program revisions and inspection records are kept on file so that call-offs remain consistent with the approved first article. Engineering changes — material substitutions, tolerance updates, plating or packaging changes — are handled as controlled changes against the same records.
## Quality and documentation
DIN ISO 2768-mK applies as the default tolerance scheme for unspecified dimensions. EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates are standard for metallic parts, First Article Inspection supports the approval step, and RoHS/REACH declarations are available where required. Plating, cleanliness and packaging requirements are confirmed per drawing.
## FAQ
Can you machine to corrosion-resistant alloy specifications?Yes. Nickel alloys, duplex and super duplex are running materials on our lines, with per-alloy tooling and parameters engineered to protect the corrosion-resistant phases during machining. Every batch ships with EN 10204 3.1 certificates showing the actual melt analysis, and the corrosion-resistant properties are preserved through controlled machining conditions. Fully documented. What sealing-surface finish can you hold?Sealing surfaces are finished to Ra 0.8 µm or better as standard, with actual measured values reported on the dimensional certificate. Tighter finishes for gas-tight applications are available on request, and the surface roughness is verified with profilometry before the parts leave the factory, so your assembly team receives seals that are ready to test. How do you handle elastomer-bonded components?Elastomer-to-metal bonding runs through audited partners with the bond strength and elastomer properties documented in the same batch file as the dimensional report. We advise on elastomer selection per service environment — temperature, chemical exposure and pressure cycles — and the bonded components arrive ready for your downhole assembly without secondary processing. Fits are held to ±0.005 mm with actual values reported on every batch. What are the payment and delivery terms?New relationships start with 30 percent on order and 70 percent before shipment, or an irrevocable letter of credit for framework values. First articles ship in 7 to 15 days, and series orders deliver DDP in 5 to 8 days by air including customs clearance, or 35 to 45 days by sea for planned call-offs against forecast.
