Industry scenario: the aftermarket is an open category

Weaving mills run mixed fleets of machine generations, and the aftermarket for machined loom parts — guides, pins, bushings, wear plates, machined specials — is an established open category served by part number. Mills and parts distributors buy on availability, price and repeatability, not on OEM brand.

Our process matches the distribution model: send the part number, sample or drawing; get a tiered-price quotation within 48 hours; receive RoHS/REACH declarations with the confirmation and labels to your specification.

Workflow: drawing, sample approval and recurring series

The standard flow: drawing review and quotation within 48 hours, first samples in 7–15 days, first article inspection and approval, then series production against the approved reference. Tooling, program revisions and inspection records are kept on file so that call-offs remain consistent with the approved first article.

Engineering changes — material substitutions, tolerance updates, plating or packaging changes — are handled as controlled changes against the same records.

Quality and documentation

DIN ISO 2768-mK applies as the default tolerance scheme for unspecified dimensions. EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates are standard for metallic parts, First Article Inspection supports the approval step, and RoHS/REACH declarations are available where required. Plating, cleanliness and packaging requirements are confirmed per drawing.

FAQ

Can you quote from a part number alone?
Yes — send the part number with the target quantity, plus a sample or drawing where available.

How does tiered pricing work?
Prices are structured across your quantity ladder (e.g. 10/50/500/1,000 pieces) so you can serve your own customers at every level.

Are RoHS/REACH declarations included?
Yes, they ship with the confirmation and the goods.

What are typical replenishment lead times?
Air freight DDP in 5–8 days; sea freight 35–45 days for planned replenishment.
