Recently, we had the privilege of visiting the 27th ITES Shenzhen Industrial Exhibition at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). A two-day visit allowed us to immersive experience the strong pulse of the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and fully appreciate the technological strength and industrial pattern behind the theme of "Penetrating the Industry · Intelligent Manufacturing Fusion". As a high-energy event for the manufacturing industry in South China at the beginning of the year, this exhibition is not only a display stage for domestic and foreign industrial brands, but also an important platform for promoting industrial chain collaboration and helping the implementation of the "Artificial Intelligence +" strategy.
Grand Scale and Highlights
This exhibition was grand in scale and full of highlights. The exhibition opened on March 31, 2026 and lasted until April 3, with an exhibition area of 160,000 square meters, gathering more than 1,500 industrial brands at home and abroad, and attracting more than 120,000 representatives of terminal brand enterprises to visit and purchase. It covers leading enterprises in 12 application industries such as BYD, Huawei, Foxconn, and CATL, building an efficient industrial chain docking ecosystem.
With three themed exhibitions - high-end equipment, robots and automation, and precision components - as the core, the exhibition simultaneously launched special thematic exhibitions such as the Shenzhen Medical Device Supply Chain Ecological Exhibition and the South China Air Compressor Exhibition, forming a complete industrial closed loop from core components, system integration to industrial applications, covering all key areas of the manufacturing industry in an all-round way.
High-End Equipment Exhibition Area
As the core section of the exhibition, the High-end Equipment Exhibition Area gathered more than 600 top domestic and foreign brands, which was the focus of our visit. Here, we saw cutting-edge equipment brought by global machine tool giants such as Mazak, Makino, and Fanuc.
Among them, Mazak's INTEGREX i-630 V multi-tasking machining center made its South China debut, which can complete multi-face turning and milling with one clamping, greatly improving the processing efficiency of large and complex parts; Beijing Jingdiao's JDMR400 MT high-speed machining center made its China debut, successfully solving the processing pain points of difficult-to-process materials such as titanium alloys and superalloys, providing a new solution for high-end precision parts manufacturing.
In addition, leading enterprises such as Han's Laser and Dineng Laser exhibited laser cutting and intelligent bending equipment. Among them, Dineng Laser's D-Speed high-performance laser cutting machine, which made its domestic debut, achieved efficient metal plate cutting with ultra-high power of 20kW, accurately meeting the processing needs of AI server chassis and helping the sheet metal industry transform to "structural part manufacturing". Measurement enterprises such as Zeiss and Hexagon brought advanced testing equipment. Hexagon launched the HxGN Visual Detection AI defect detection platform, which covers the entire quality inspection process in one stop, ensuring product accuracy.
Robot and Automation Equipment Exhibition Area
The Robot and Automation Equipment Exhibition Area was also impressive, gathering more than 500 intelligent manufacturing enterprises and comprehensively presenting full-scenario automation solutions. Industrial robots displayed by enterprises such as Flexiv, Robotics, and Epson, as well as inspection and assembly systems integrated with AI technology, make the production line both efficient and flexible, effectively solving the anxiety of enterprises "wanting to use but daring not to move" in the transformation process.
Enterprises such as Fuji Electric and Inovance Technology brought core components such as industrial control and servo drives, building a complete technical puzzle from "brain" to "joints", providing core support for automated production lines. It is worth mentioning that the exhibition created China's first characteristic exhibition area focusing on the landing of industrial embodied intelligence. Enterprises such as Zhiyuan Robot and Leju Robot presented five major application scenarios including loading and unloading, handling, and assembly, exploring the path of industrialization of humanoid robots, allowing us to intuitively feel the development prospects of embodied intelligence technology.
Precision Components Design and Manufacturing
The Precision Components Design and Manufacturing Exhibition Area gathered more than 200 "hidden champion" enterprises from China and Japan, including domestic enterprises such as China Electronic AiHua and Jiaye Precision, and more than 30 Japanese lean processing enterprises such as Mitsui Toyo and Chichibu Precision.
It provides full-process outsourcing services such as micro-level precision processing, mold manufacturing, and surface treatment, realizing reliable delivery from aviation heavy-duty structural parts to smart wearable micro parts, and effectively solving the problem of high-end manufacturing supply chain matching.
The Shenzhen Medical Device Supply Chain Ecological Exhibition held simultaneously gathered five leading enterprises including Mindray, Siemens Healthineers, and GE, as well as their core supply chain partners. Leading enterprises released industrial problems on site to seek solutions. The exhibition area covers the entire chain of key components, intelligent modules, and high-end manufacturing equipment, promoting the independent controllability of the medical device supply chain.
Industrial New Intelligence Conference
In addition to the rich display of exhibits, the exhibition also held more than 80 high-quality themed forums, forming an ecological model of in-depth integration of "exhibition + conference". The "Industrial New Intelligence Conference" focused on seven hot directions including semiconductor equipment, AI servers, embodied intelligence, and new energy vehicles, gathering more than 450 industry experts to in-depth discuss core issues such as the mass production cost reduction of humanoid robots, the industrialization of AI detection systems, and the processing of semiconductor chambers.
Through case analysis and technological foresight, it provided practical ideas for participants. We listened to the series of embodied intelligence forums in full. The in-depth analysis of experts on the core components and precision manufacturing of humanoid robots gave us a clearer understanding of the future development trend of the manufacturing industry.
Conclusion and Future Outlook
Although the two-day visit was short, the shock and inspiration brought by this exhibition were profound. As an established industrial exhibition with 27 years of experience in the industry, ITES Shenzhen Industrial Exhibition not only accurately connects with the national "Artificial Intelligence +" strategy, but also builds a high-end platform for technical exchange and resource docking, helping enterprises tackle key "bottleneck" core components and implement advanced technologies of "new quality productive forces".
From the ultimate precision of high-end equipment, to the flexible upgrading of automation technology, and the collaborative efforts of the supply chain, we truly saw the firm pace of Made in China transforming into Intelligent Made in China, and also felt the strong strength of Shenzhen as the "No.1 Industrial City in China". This visit not only broadened our horizons and increased our knowledge, but also filled us with confidence in the future of the manufacturing industry. We believe that in the wave of this intelligent manufacturing fusion, more innovative achievements will be born, promoting China's manufacturing industry to a new stage of higher-quality development.
